Dallas Bland
Dallas Bland plays Rob, a mild mannered public servant thrown into unfamiliar territory. He started acting in 2003 and spent two and a half years at the National Acting School. He has appeared in dozens of short films, corporate videos and promotional videos. Dallas has also made the move behind the camera directing and producing his own short films. He regularly contends in Tropfest, ‘Lights Canberra Action’ as well as having had numerous films in Short Seasons Film Festivals.
Dallas appeared in another Canberra Feature film in 2004 called ‘Strange James’, and was an extra in Cate Shortland’s ‘Somersault’. He is also a talented Guitarist and played in the band ‘Dehuman’ for three years.

Darren Jackson Carver
Darren Jackson Carver is an actor of experience having already starred alongside Benjamin Bratt and James Franco in the feature film ‘The Great Raid.’ From humble acting beginnings such as playing characters like Batman and Mr Freeze at Warner Bros Movieworld Darren has grown into roles more befitting his character and skill. Darren plays Gordon, the sinister ex-boyfriend in ‘The Last Resort’ to perfection. His take on the character brings a real emotional layer to the story and creates a necessary tension throughout the film. Darren is expanding his career further into writing with his feature film script ‘The Puppeteer.’

Perpetua Kish
Perpetua Kish is a talented up and coming actress from Sydney. She has been trained at Screenwise and began her acting career on the stage. She played various memorable stage roles including the title role in ‘Hating Alison Ashley’ and Trillion in ‘Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.’ Perpetua won the Canberra Critic’s Circle Award for Excellence in 2005 for her performance in ‘The Bear’ and Best Supporting Actress at the Festival of One Act Plays as Suzie in ‘The Ball’s up.’
Perpetua has since expanded her resume to include commercials for Magnet Mart, Toyota and Local Liquor. She has also appeared in various short film and music videos for EoR Media in Canberra. This is her first feature film. Perpetua plays Celeste, the object of affection, in ‘The Last Resort.’ |

Virginia Bowers
On return from a few years modelling overseas, Virginia studied drama at Deakin University, as well as completing a two year stint at The Rehearsal Room under Richard Sarell. She has also trained with renowned theatre director David Myles.
Aside from The Last Resort, her film credits include the soon to be released feature 'Little Deaths', and numerous short films, including the Tropfest film 'The New Day', and the comedy 'Cocktail Hour'. She can currently be seen in the video clip for The Whitlams' newest song, 'I Was Alive', and will soon be appearing on Neighbours.

Costa Ronin
In 1996 Costa migrated from Russia to New Zealand where he acted in plays, musicals and films. After coming to Australia in 2001, Costa moved to Perth attending PAC Screen workshops. While residing in Perth, Costa continued his training and performed in many short films and on stage.
One of the highlights of 2004 was his selection as one of five winners of the national "Crack the Big Time” competition for the acting category. The following year he repeated the honor. Later in 2005 Costa moved to Sydney and continued his Acting studies.
Costa is fluent in Russian, Spanish and English and also speaks some
French. He plays Agent Lawsov in this feature film – A Police Officer seeking the truth.

Graham Gall
Graham is a Canberra local who has been on stage in music and theatre from an early age. He developed professional corporate presentation skills and worked on corporate television as an anchorperson and chat show style host.Graham is actively involved in filmmaking performing in roles for Tropfest films, short films and now venturing into features. Graham has trained at the National Acting School, undertaking courses on Method Acting, Script Interpretation and Professional Acting for Film and Television. He is the more experienced Officer Cook in ‘The Last Resort’. Graham was awarded 2005-2006 'Professional Actor of The Year' by the National Acting School. He featured in the 2006 national Toyota TV commercial 'Numbers' and a 2006 TV ad for the Queanbeyan Kangaroos Club. Graham plays a lead role in the short film 'The GP', a finalist in the 2006 Canberra Short Film Festival and has completed shooting a music video for Sydney band 'Red Riders' for their next single release.

Alison McGregor
Alison McGregor has been performing in theatre locally since 2004. Over the course of this time she has worked with a number of companies, such as Bohemian Productions, ShadowhousePITS, BKu and ANU Women on Campus. Most recently she performed in Canberra Youth Theatre's Arcane Secrets and was a puppeteer in Serious Theatre's all-mother. In 2005 Alison completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at the Australian National University, where she majored in Theatre and Film Studies. Currently Alison is working with writer David Finnigan, dramaturg Paschal Berry and director barb Barnett workopping Finnigan's Car Play, which will culminate in a rehearsed reading in early May. The Last Resort is Alison's first real foray into the world of film, though she hopes it won't be her last. |

Nathan Spiteri
Nathan Spiteri is a well rounded individual. He has been trained professionally at the Actors Centre in Sydney and the National Acting School. His training includes everything from Shakespeare to Theatre and Television Acting. Nathan frequently appears in short films around Canberra as well as several Tropfest entries this year. He is an enthusiastic and hard working actor and appeared in Commercials for the Ainslie Football Club, Magnet Mart and Jaguar Cars. Nathan is also a model and has been in multiple fashion shows. ‘The Last Resort’ isn’t Nathan’s first feature either, making him a seasoned professional.

Rob Queree
Rob Queree has forty years experience in film, television and stage work. He became involved with the Henry Lawson Theatre and has acted and directed numerous productions for them, more recent of which have earned him numerous awards.
He has been heavily involved in short movies including Spoon Man, in which he played the lead role. It won Best Australian Short Film at Flickerfest 2004 .
His previous features include “Caught In The Net”, “Not About A.J.”, “Playing with Pirahuanas” and “Edge Of The World.” during the past two years, and also worked professionally in such programmes as “All Saints”, “Home and Away” and “Breakers” plus several advertisements. He has also directed three short films and is preparing to direct a feature.
